Basement Construction Temporary Works Design
Abacus CDS structural engineers engage from pre-construction stage to deliver coordinated temporary works designs supporting a multi-storey basement excavation.
Our role includes design of excavation support and robust shoring and propping systems to maintain site stability adjacent to occupied structures. Working closely with the contractor, we provide phased temporary works sequencing, load analysis, and checks on construction staging.
Our approach ensures safety, minimised disruption to neighbouring assets, and allows efficient progression of the permanent works.
